I'm Here!

I made my grand entrance into the world on Friday, April 20th, 2007.  I was born at 3:53pm (I wanted to make sure mommy didn't miss dinner!) and I weighed 6lbs. When I stretch out, I am 19.25 inches long!

I first smiled at the hospital bright and early on Saturday morning.  I'm just so happy, I can't help it!  I get food whenever I want, I'm always clean and comfy, and best of all, I always have a warm and cozy place to sleep.

I hardly ever cry, because I don't really need to.  My mommy and daddy are always there and see when something is wrong.  They are really good at keeping me calm - that must be why I'm smiling all the time!

I'm happy to be home.  I liked the hospital, but I was really sleepy while I was there so I don't remember much of what went on.  Here at home, I've been awake much more.  I love playing with my mommy and daddy and just staring at their faces.  My daddy is SO silly - he's already gotten me close to laughing!  He blows on my face and it makes me squirm :)

One of my mommy's friends, Hanina, gave me this blanket.  I love it. The second my mommy or daddy wraps me up in it, I fall right to sleep. It is so soft, and it keeps me nice and warm!

Hanina also gave me a bunny rabbit hooded towel.  I've already used it twice during bath time!  I like it a lot too - I always make silly faces when I am wrapped up in it!

My mommy and daddy have been keeping me very busy, so I have to go.  I'll be sure to tell you more about what we've been up to over the next few weeks!
