30 Days ::: Day 4

Our hotel doesn't have a pool, so we were sent next door to go swimming today.  Once we got there, we were told the hours were 6am-10am and 6pm-10pm.  What sort of hours are those?  Thaya and I decided not to let it get us down.  We stayed in our suits, filled the bath to full capacity, and splashed around for nearly an hour!  As you can see in this photo, Thaya love watching the tub fill up.  She always has that "Look, Mama! Look!" expression on her face during that time.

30 Days ::: Day 3

Matt has a seminar on progressive collapse in DC, and we decided to make a family trip out of it.  So last night after Thaya was fed and put into her PJs, we hit the road.  Three hours later, we found ourselves snuggled in a king-sized sleep number bed.  We decided to order breakfast "in" this morning.  The omelets were ok - the real hit was the pineapple.  Thaya had some organic gerber pears and blueberries to top it off.

Of course I forgot her socks, so we'll be going to Crystal City today for some shopping.  I know, totally stinks.

See you tomorrow!

30 Days ::: Day 2

Feeder, originally uploaded by megfahren.

Today is unseasonably warm.  After I put Thaya down for her nap, I went to fill the feeders.  I love moss, and was delighted to see some on the feeder.

30 Days ::: Day 1

Aimee wrote about a project called 30 Days of Everyday.  My inspiration is coming from her, she is a fantastic photographer whose images have a lot of impact and interest in my opinion.  Her inspiration is coming from SouleMama, whose images really do capture the essence of her everyday life.

So, for me, this project is a great way to connect to everyday life - my everyday life.  This is also a way for me to reflect on what is going on day to day and attach some meaning to it.  If nothing else, this will allow me to further my basic photography skills and writing.
