Happenings

The other day we walked across the street to say hi to our three horsie neighbors. They were out for some exercise, so we didn't get to see them, but we still had fun looking around and playing in the grass. Thaya just loves animals, and she will say "hi!" and wave the whole way to the fence. It is so cute! She also has a new little squeal she does when she sees something exciting. She says "Oh!" but it is all high-pitched and surprised sounding. Very sweet.
There is also a great basic Deviled Eggs recipe up on Pinch My Salt that I tried out this morning. It was a good starting point for the eggs. I personally like mine with a lot of mustard so I added an extra squirt or two :P Believe it or not, I've never hard boiled eggs before, never mind adding a little devil to them, so this was a fun adventure. It went fast and they are yummy :) I used these instructions for hard boiling, and it was perfect (except for the one that I mangled - I just took the yoke out of that one and threw the rest of it away. It wasn't pretty).
I also found out that my husband apparently has "a yoke thing" and is particular about how his eggs are prepared. This is very good news for Thaya and me - more yummy eggs for us!
Just a side note, I've been visiting the chiropractor and it has been going well so far. He promises to take me right up to my delivery with a healthy happy back. I'm all for it!

I'm so glad to hear that your back is doing better!

Adorable pic of Thaya. (OF course this is the horsie-reader loving the fence post with adorable little one)
YUMMY deviled eggs. I have that recipe saved also.
