My Hands are Full

Literally and figuratively speaking, my hands are full.  This is the first year that I've taken on so many handknit Christmas gifts.  So far I've made... lets see... 7.  Of course I can't post about them yet because *I know you are reading this!!* But, you will see them soon enough.  I may take the time to post them on Ravelry, but maybe not, Thaya and I have swim class and I have a paper to finish.

I would like you to take a little journey with me right now.  A little picture journey to see why my hands are full.

She may look sweet, laying there wearing nothing but socks and bling, but don't be fooled.  At 7 months, Thaya decided to play her hand at...

pulling herself up on anything she can.  Laundry baskets, crib rails, coffee tables, sofas, pillows, cardboard boxes, Christmas presents, you name it, she's up on it.  Despite her insisting on doing things way faster than we are prepared for...

I've still managed to get some knitting done, regardless of being Thaya's favorite thing to pull up on.  Occasionally I'm able to sidetrack her...

but she always pulls me back with her charming personality...

Hah!  Whenever Thaya crawls towards me, it reminds me of the end of Little Miss Sunshine.  She may have a new nickname :)

So, Happy 8 Months, Thaya Rose!  You are *so* over crawling and are now pulling up and cruising.  You sure are a busy bee munchkin, we love you :)
