Mending
It's hard to believe that a week ago, I was bent over in pain in the bathroom at work. A week and 10 hrs ago I was coming out of surgery. In one week, I'll be back to work. Right now, I'm not ready to go back. Maybe in a week!
Here's a little chornical of the past week:
Happy 24th Bday to me! What to wish for? Hmmm...
How about a speedy recovery and a happy, healthy baby!
DH was amazing this week. He made me a super special dinner and did a gazillion other things for me. In the beginning, I could hardly move. He was the only reason I could sit up at all!
By Friday, I had my first visitors. They brought presents! I saw them for about a half an hour and then slept for about 2!
The next two days consisted of sleeping, watching TV, eating, and knitting. Too bad I had to have an appendectomy to have such a relaxing weekend!
On Sunday, we started the holiday decorating. The tree and garland went up, as did the lights outside and in the windows.
And without further ado, this weeks knitting progress:

One baby blanket and one and a half baby sweaters. Not bad!
The blue sweater has about 1/8 of a sleeve to go. Then I need to press and seam the pieces and do a yoke. I've never done a yoke before, so wish me luck!
I'll leave you with one final picture :) She's been like a growth on my hip this week!

I'm glad you're making a quick recovery. What a crazy thing to have happen when you're pregnant. At least your DH has been awesome for you!
Very cute baby sweaters!
