Lost and Found

Camera Status: Found

We went to see Colin Hay on Friday, and it was a-mazing.  He was the singer of Men at Work - you know that band in the 80s where the drummer always wore those bright striped overalls....

So anyway, we went to the Sellersville Theatre which used to be horse stables.

It was attached to The Washington House -

A big beautiful victorian house turned yummy restaurant.

So anyway, our Friday began like any other Friday.  It was the end of the week, we'd already commuted about 10 hours and we were

TIRED.

But the week had come to an end, DH had found my camera, and we were ready for some

So off we went to see

KNITTING NEWS:

Well, since my camera is back in action, I can finally post about some progress.  Here she is, in all her glory:

The color is actually somewhere in between how it looks in these two pictures.  I know the one sleeve looks bigger than the other - it probably is... but when they are laid one on top of the other it is hardly noticable... so I'm just gonna keep on truckin' through this. My goal, no matter how unrealistic, is to have it completely finished by Sunday.  I'll keep you posted :)

So anyhow, have a great week! Happy Knitting!

Img_0106I'm happy cause I just had a ton of ghiardeli (why don''t i know how to spell that word??!!!) chocolate (I have no problem spelling that one!)

In Knitting news, I finished two sleeves on a baby sweater that I'm knitting for my STBN (soon to be niece!).  Oooooh, its lovely and if/when I find my camera, I'll have to post pics.  I'm knitting it out of Rowan's Calmer.  It is a joy to knit. so so so sosososososo soft and squishy.  You should try it.

Also, my mom got me some fun knitting stuff today - a needle/notions case, and a set of the Denise interchangeable needles.  I have to give the woman credit, she sure knows how to shop.  It takes a REAL shopper to go out with size 2 needles in mind to come back with cases, interchangables, size 2s and size 3s, a yarn snipper, and a smile!

Congradulations on making it through hump day.  The weekend is in sight!

Happy Knitting!

Oh, BTW.  I'm going to see Colin Hay on Friday.  Anyone heard of him?  He's on the Garden State soundtrack.  Look him up.

I'll find my camera before then, I hope I hope.
